Hello, my name is
Rebecca Davison.
I’m a California native who migrated to Vermont. Most recently I was a business partner at RavenMark, a graphic design and communication firm that focused on non-profit outreach. Before this, I was engaged in writing the history of the National Organization for Women, and before that I was a freelance writer/editor for environmental organizations and book packager*. I’ve returned to print after dabbling in the digital world— see Circle (a domestic violence organizations) and the North Brand Nature Center — as examples of my website work. Most of my writing and book packaging is focused on the natural world, creativity, and sometimes just life’s weirdness in general. Whenever possible, I’m in the woods, by the ocean, in the garden with a dog and/or Larry.
*This is like a film producer. A packager either comes up an idea for a book or accepts an idea from an author and then pulls together the pieces — manuscript, editing, design, and some times printing.
